Our poor little buddy was playing at the park yesterday and was attacked by yellow jackets. He sat on a bench and his hand touched the nest. Thankfully, Justin was sitting right next to him and was able to quickly pull him away, but unfortunately, the bees had already started to sting. He was stung quite a few times on his face, neck and hands. He's pretty swollen but is feeling fine. He keeps letting me know that he will be well enough to go to Six Flags this weekend (a much anticipated trip). Those darn bees make me so mad. I think I could live without honey if God ever decided to wipe out the bee population...all bugs really, but bees are now on the top of my list!

Oh my gosh I am soooo glad that Justin was there. How scary.
Poor kid.
On a lighter note his swollen cheeks remind me of Hitch...when he has the allergic reaction :) ha ha
poor caleb! that is pitiful! i've never been stung before, but i can only imagine! that is just horrible. LOL, i could live without honey, too! ;)
ouch, poor caleb! hope he is feeling better.
Yellow jacket wasps hurt really, really bad when they sting you. He is a brave boy. Red wasps and bees hurt bad also. They all scare me. I have been stung many times growing up in the country. It's worse than any shot you will ever get.
